Community Concepts Inc. is a family of social service programs serving the three Maine counties of Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford.

Director of Human Resources
Susan has served as Director of Human Resources since 2009. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education, an HR certificate from University of Southern Maine and has completed numerous HR and leadership programs.
Director of Finance
Clarice has been with Community Concepts since 1992, beginning as a Program Associate in the Housing Department. Clarice transferred to the Finance Department in 1993. After holding several positions within the Finance Department including, Controller and Associate Director of Finance, was promoted to Director of Finance in 2005.
Clarice received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Husson University in 2004 and is currently pursuing her MBA.
COMMUNITY SERVICES AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Director of Transportation
Brad has been with Community Concepts since 2009. He started out in the Housing Department and transferred to Transportation in 2015. He brings a variety of experiences to this position including a background in project engineering/management as well as being a small business owner. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine where he also minored in Business Management and Entrepreneurial Engineering.
Director of Information Technology
Rich has over twenty-seven years of IT experience, five of those years have been in a non-profit setting. Rich has a variety of technical skills including, multi-site networking, security, hardware, and software system support, system and process analysis and design.
Rich has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine
HOUSING AND ENERGY SERVICES
Director of Housing Improvement Services
Sandy has been with Community Concepts since 1999 and started as a Self-Help Administrative Specialist, working with low income families to assist them in building their own homes. She was soon promoted to the Housing & Energy Office Manager in which she managed the day to day duties all of the support staff for the Housing & Energy department.
In 2007, Sandy obtained the position of the Associate Director of Housing & Energy in which she assisted the Director with the oversight and management of the programs within the department. Recently Sandy became the Director of Housing Improvement Services and now she is responsible for the oversight and management of the Self-Help Housing program, Lead Hazard Control Program, Weatherization Grant programs, the Central Heating Improvement Program, the Above Ground Storage Tank Program, the Community Development Block Grant programs, and the Maine Home Repair Network program.
Director of Community Support Services
Lisa has been with Community Concepts since 1993. She began in the Fuel Assistance Program, and now is Director of Community Support Services. She oversees the Fuel Assistance Program and other community services.
Director of Children’s Services
Dianne has been working in the field of Social Work since 1985, in venues ranging from a locked psychiatric hospital, crisis services, special education, residential care for children, to adult community based services. She attended undergraduate school at the University of Maine at Farmington and received a BA in Psychology with a Minor in Education, and she received her MSW from the University of New England.
Associate Director of Children’s Services
Tina Wilcox began work at Community Concepts in 1985 as a Head Start cook at the little red schoolhouse on Lake Pennesseewassee. Since that time, she has held a variety of direct service and management positions within the Children’s Services department.
As Associate Director of Children’s Services, Tina currently oversees program operations and child development services in Oxford County.
Tina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Development from the Universtiy of Maine at Farmington.
COMMUNITY CONCEPTS FINANCE CORPORATION (CCFC)
Director of Economic Development
Glen is currently the Director of Economic Development for Community Concepts Finance Corporation. Glen came to work at Community Concepts in January of 2012 as the Director of the Western Maine Economic Development Council. Glen is a native of Oxford County, growing up in Mexico, Maine. He has previously served in the United States Air Force, held numerous management level positions in the private sector, and held the office of Town Manager in Buckfield.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE
Director of Property Management & Maintenance
Bob began working for Community Concepts in 1994 and oversees, coordinates and supervises the Property Management and Maintenance Department staff and functions for all owned, leased and managed rental properties, offices and Head Start facilities.
He also oversees commercial and residential leasing operations; provides monthly budget analyzing, projections and annual budget preparation; oversees capital needs assessments for planning and implementation; provides Asset Management for all owned, leased and managed properties; assists in the development of new Real Estate projects, and provides leadership within the department and Agency.
The department currently has 10 (ten) staff responsible for Management and Maintenance functions of 175 affordable housing rental units, 3 main office and 2 satellite office Facilities, and 9 Head Start Centers located throughout Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin Counties.
Christine Hufnagel LCSW, CADC
Director of Family Services
Christine has been with Community Concepts since 2000. Prior to joining the CCI team Christine had been providing mental health and substance abuse counseling with children and adults in New Jersey and Delaware.
She moved to Maine to join the Family Services Department as a Supervisor in our community-based child welfare program.
