Bridges Out of Poverty

Bridges Out of Poverty is a unique framework that opens a window onto the profound impact living in poverty has on people and families. Poverty impacts a person’s ability to hold a job, plan for the future, and advance in life.

Community Concepts offers Bridges Out of Poverty workshops throughout Western Maine. The experience deepens people’s understanding of what it is like to live in poverty and the culture that surrounds it. Understanding the profound effects of living in poverty can help foster economic development, as employers work with those who come from poverty, and as people in poverty seek to advance.
