Community Concepts Announces Expansion of Resource Development & Marketing Team

Community Concepts, a leading non-profit, community action agency serving Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford Counties announced recent additions to the agency’s Development and Marketing team.  Candace Sanborn will lead the development and marketing efforts as Vice President of Resource Development and Marketing and Will Fessenden will oversee online and print communications as the new Communication and Events Manager. Both are new positions for the agency.

“We are excited to have Candace and Will join us during this exciting time for Community Concepts,” says Shawn Yardley, Community Concepts CEO.  “Our board of directors and leadership team are focused on building our fundraising, development and branding efforts.  Their experience in these areas will enable Community Concepts to better serve both our partners and those in the community who need our services.”

Sanborn will focus on business development strategies for Community Concepts and Community Concepts Finance Corporation, leading all facets of the annual and community-wide campaigns and providing the overall direction for the agency’s branding and marketing efforts.

Fessenden will lead the organizations’ on-line and outreach strategies, manage all print and electronic communications, as well as oversee all community events.

Candace Sanborn of Auburn has nearly 30 years of marketing experience, including owning her own marketing firm for 15 years. She serves on the boards of Central Maine Medical Center and the Maine Community Foundation and is active in a variety of community groups.

Will Fessenden lives in Sabattus,  after spending a decade in television and radio in Portland and Augusta; he brings 10 years of marketing and branding experience to Community Concepts.
