Hollie Legee, Health/Nutrition Manager

Hollie Legee is a Health/Nutrition Manager for Community Concepts’ Children’s Services department.  In this role, she is responsible for helping children and families meet their health, dental, and nutritional needs.  She also manages the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for the department.  Prior to joining Community Concepts in December of 2013, Hollie spent fifteen years working with children, primarily birth through age 5, both as a nanny and in childcare and preschool settings.  Hollie has a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences, with a focus on nutrition and wellness, and a dual major in EcoGastronomy.  Her EcoGastronomy program combined sustainable agriculture, nutrition, and hospitality management and focused on how our individual food choices impact our community, economy, and environment.  Hollie is a Certified Lactation Counselor and a First Aid/CPR instructor.  She is an active member of the Oxford County Wellness Collaborative where she sits on the community engagement workgroup.  She has also consulted with the Alan Day Community Garden as a member of their outreach advisory team and is the Head Start representative on the statewide SNAP-Ed Leadership Council.
